Since nothing of value is staked or won, Velvet Rail Club does not offer gambling under the Gambling Act 2005. The 18+ rule applies all the same.
Only adults aged 18 or over may use Velvet Rail Club. All play runs on virtual coins of no monetary value, and they cannot be bought, sold, withdrawn or exchanged. Nowhere on the line is there a coin shop or a payment page, no prize of real-world value is on offer, and a good run here does not imply future success at real-money gambling.
