One carriage on a guest pass, two more behind a free account, and every rule set out in print.
Highline Viaduct opens with a guest pass. It asks for no name, email or password: you tick that you are 18 or over and in the UK, accept the terms, and the pass runs for two hours with 100,000 guest coins.
Claret Dining Car and Clocktower Concourse open with a free account. The form has four parts and no more: a nickname, an email address, a password and a tick confirming you are 18 or over. We ask for no card, no address and no phone number, as the site sells nothing. The account serves two purposes: it holds your coins and progress for your return, and it lets us keep the games to adults. One button on your account page deletes it along with everything inside.
Your account opens with 100,000 free coins, topped up by anything you won on a guest pass on the same device, and that one balance, level and set of missions rides with you into every world. Coins are virtual: they cannot be bought, sold, withdrawn or exchanged for anything, and no win has real-world value.
Nothing is sold in the app: there are no in-app purchases, and no payment page exists on the site.
All three worlds use five reels and three rows. A win runs left to right along fixed paylines, beginning on the first reel and continuing over adjacent reels. Your stake is shared evenly between the lines, and paytable values are multiples of the line bet apart from the scatter, which pays on the total stake. Each line pays only its highest win.
| Type of bonus on board | What happens in the carriage | Carriages with it |
|---|---|---|
| Tumbling reels | Symbols in a win disappear, those above drop down and fresh ones fall in from the top. Each further win in the chain pays more: x1 on the original spin, then x2, x3, and x5 for every tumble beyond that. | |
| Climbing multiplier | Through the free-spin round the multiplier keeps rising, and it never falls back until the round ends. | Highline Viaduct |
| Sticky wild respin | Land a wild on a paid spin that otherwise pays nothing, and Barnaby holds every wild where it sits while the rest of the grid spins once more, free. | Clocktower Concourse |
| Last-reel respin | If a paid spin pays nothing but shows two scatters, the fifth reel spins once more for free in search of the third. | |
| Doubled free spins | The simplest bonus on the line: three scatters start free spins, and every win inside them pays double. | Claret Dining Car |
Every reel carries a fixed strip of symbols. On each spin your browser’s random number generator chooses an independent stopping point on every strip. Earlier spins never shape later ones, and nothing changes with your balance or the time you have played.
Return, hit frequency and feature frequency for each world come from running that game’s own code over millions of spins, and they are printed in its paytable. They apply only to coin play in these free games and say nothing about any real-money game.
Only adults aged 18 or over may use Velvet Rail Club. All play runs on virtual coins of no monetary value, and they cannot be bought, sold, withdrawn or exchanged. Nowhere on the line is there a coin shop or a payment page, no prize of real-world value is on offer, and a good run here does not imply future success at real-money gambling.
